Gallo Matese is a comune located in the Province of Caserta within the Campania region of Italy. It is situated in a valley near the Matese Apennines mountain chain, positioned approximately 70 kilometres north of Naples and 45 kilometres north of Caserta. The municipality lies near the regional boundary with Molise.
The territory of Gallo Matese is predominantly mountainous in character. It is also home to an artificial lake that shares the same name as the municipality.
