Brusciano is a municipality located in the Metropolitan City of Naples in Italy. It is situated on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, approximately 10 miles inland to the north-east of the city center of Naples.
The town originated as an ancient village with a rural vocation. It developed along the stretch of the National Puglia road that connects the eastern side of Naples to Pomigliano d'Arco and Nola.
