Aversa

Aversa is a city and comune located in the Province of Caserta within the Campania region of southern Italy. Situated approximately 24 km north of Naples, it serves as the second-largest city in its province after Caserta, with a recorded population of 52,974 as of 2017.

The city is the central hub of the Agro Aversano, an agricultural district known for the production of wine and cheese. Additionally, Aversa serves as the primary seat for the faculties of Architecture and Engineering at the Università degli studi della Campania "L. Vanvitelli."
