San Luca is a comune located in the Province of Reggio Calabria in southern Italy. It is situated approximately 100 kilometres southwest of Catanzaro and about 35 kilometres east of Reggio Calabria, positioned on the eastern slopes of the Aspromonte mountains within the valley of the Bonamico river.
The village is historically recognized as a stronghold for the 'Ndrangheta, a Mafia-type criminal organization based in the Calabria region. It is notably associated with an ongoing power struggle between various clans known as the San Luca feud.
