San Giovanni di Gerace is a comune located in the Province of Reggio Calabria within the Italian region of Calabria. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres southwest of Catanzaro and about 60 kilometres northeast of Reggio Calabria.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 13.3 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 577 residents.
