San Demetrio Corone is a town and municipality located in the Calabria region of Italy. Situated at an altitude of 521 meters, the town has a population of approximately 3,387 inhabitants.

The municipality serves as a significant cultural center for Albanian communities in Italy, preserving the ethnic identity, customs, culture, and language of its origins. It is notably associated with the preservation of Byzantine rites and belongs to the district of the Italo-Albanian Church of the Eparchy of Lungro.

A key landmark in the town is the Collegio of Sant'Adriano. This boarding school is recognized as an important religious and cultural institution for conserving Albanian traditions and the oriental rite. Historically, it is known for producing numerous patriots and revolutionaries who participated in the Italian Independence wars.
