Rossano is a town and frazione of Corigliano-Rossano located in the province of Cosenza within the Calabria region of southern Italy. It is situated on an eminence approximately three kilometres (1.9 mi) from the Gulf of Taranto.
The town is primarily recognized for its marble and alabaster quarries, which are notable characteristics of the local geography and industry.
