Rosarno is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria within the Italian region of Calabria. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres southwest of Catanzaro and about 50 kilometres northeast of Reggio Calabria.
The town stands on a natural terrace characterized by olive plantations and vineyards on the left bank of the river Mesima, overlooking the Gioia Tauro plain. Rosarno serves as an important agricultural and commercial centre, specifically recognized for its production of wines, olive oil, and citrus fruits.
