Marina di Gioiosa Ionica is a comune located in the Province of Reggio Calabria within the Italian region of Calabria. It is situated approximately 80 kilometres southwest of Catanzaro and about 120 kilometres northeast of Reggio Calabria.
As of September 30, 2017, the municipality covered an area of 15.9 square kilometres and had a population of 6,615 residents.
