Grotteria is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Reggio Calabria within the Italian region of Calabria. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres southwest of Catanzaro and about 60 kilometres northeast of Reggio Calabria.
The town serves as a local administrative center within its province, positioned in the southern portion of the Italian peninsula.
