Galatro is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Reggio Calabria within the Italian region of Calabria. It is situated approximately 60 kilometres southwest of Catanzaro and about 60 kilometres northeast of Reggio Calabria.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 50.5 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 2,077 residents.
