Cardeto is a municipality situated in the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria within the Calabria region of southern Italy. The town is located approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) southeast of Reggio Calabria and about 120 kilometres (75 mi) southwest of Catanzaro.
The municipality has a population of 1,269 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative division within the regional infrastructure of the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria.
