Canolo is a comune, or municipality, located in the Italian region of Calabria. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria.
The town is positioned approximately 70 kilometres (43 mi) southwest of Catanzaro and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Reggio Calabria. As of December 31, 2004, Canolo had a population of 901 residents and covered an area of 28.2 square kilometres (10.9 mi2).
