Oliveto Lucano is a town and comune located in the province of Matera within the Basilicata region of Southern Italy. The municipality is currently led by mayor Nicola Terranova.
The town is primarily recognized for its annual "Maggio Festival," a traditional celebration dedicated to St. Cyprian. This event takes place annually on August 10, 11, and 12.
