Pretoro

Pretoro is a town located in southern Italy within the province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region. Situated on a steep hillside on the eastern side of the Maiella mountains, it has a population of approximately 1,100 inhabitants.

The town is situated within Majella National Park and is recognized as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia" (the most beautiful villages in Italy). Its geographical location provides access to diverse recreational activities, including winter sports due to its proximity to the Passo Lanciano-La Majelletta ski area, and coastal access, being only 20 minutes by car from the Adriatic Sea.
