Oricola

Oricola is a comune and town situated in the province of L'Aquila within the Abruzzo region of central Italy. It is located near the regional boundary with Latium.

The town is characterized by its mid-15th century rocca, or fortress, which commands the area. Additionally, the communal territory contains the remains of several ancient Italic settlements. Notable cultural features include the church of Santa Restituta, which houses a 13th-century fresco.
