Carsoli is a town and comune located in the province of L'Aquila within the Abruzzo region of Italy. It serves as a local administrative center situated in the central part of the country.
The area is historically significant for its archaeological heritage, as it contains an ancient Roman city. This historical site is located approximately 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) southwest of the modern town of Carsoli.
