Carapelle Calvisio is a village and comune (municipality) situated in the Province of L'Aquila within the Abruzzo region of central Italy. The municipality is positioned at an elevation of 900 metres (3,000 ft) above sea level and lies within the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park.
The area is notable for its extremely small population size; as of 2026, it had a population of 68 residents. It is recognized as one of the least populous non-alpine comuni in Italy and holds the distinction of being the least populous municipality in Abruzzo, a title it shares with Montelapiano. Additionally, the village is located a few kilometers away from the historical castle known as Rocca Calascio.
