Kirkjubaejarklaustur

Kirkjubæjarklaustur is a village located in the southern region of Iceland. It is situated along the hringvegur, positioned between the towns of Vík í Mýrdal and Höfn. The settlement is approximately 190 kilometres (120 mi) east of the capital city, Reykjavik.

The village is part of the municipality of Skaftárhreppur and has a population of about 500 inhabitants. Geographically, Kirkjubæjarklaustur is characterized by its surroundings, which include hills and plateaus to the north.
