Eqbaliyeh is a city located in the Central District of Qazvin County within the Qazvin province of Iran. It covers an area of approximately 47.3 square kilometers and is situated roughly 5 kilometers southwest of the city of Qazvin, positioned along the main road connecting Qazvin to Hamedan and Zanjan.
The settlement originated as the village of Soltanabad before being officially converted into the city of Eqbaliyeh in 1991. It is recognized as one of the older cities within the Qazvin province.
