Behshahr is a city located in the Central District of Behshahr County within the Mazandaran province of Iran. It serves as the administrative capital for both the county and the district.
Situated at the foot of the Alborz mountains, the city is positioned approximately 40 kilometres east of Sari and 80 kilometres west of Gorgan.
