Sirjan is a city located in the Central District of Sirjan County within the Kerman province of southern Iran. It serves as the administrative capital for both the county and the district. The city is situated approximately 960 km (600 mi) from Tehran, the national capital, and 175 km (109 mi) from the provincial capital of Kerman.
The region is notable for its production of pistachios and Kilim textiles. A significant local landmark is a traditional windcatcher known as Bādgir-e Chopoqi.
