Golpayegan is a city located in the Central District of Golpayegan County within the Isfahan Province of Iran. It serves as the administrative capital for both the county and the district. The city is situated at an altitude of 1,830 meters above sea level.
Geographically, Golpayegan is positioned approximately 186 kilometers northwest of Isfahan and 102 kilometers southeast of Arak. The region experiences a wide range of temperatures, fluctuating between +37 °C and -10 °C, with an average annual rainfall of 300 mm.
