Fereydunshahr is a city located in the Central District of Fereydunshahr County within the Isfahan province of Iran. It serves as the administrative capital for both the county and the district. The city is situated approximately 150 km west of Isfahan, positioned in the western portion of the province.
The town is notable for its high altitude, reaching an elevation of about 2,500 meters above sea level. Due to this height, Fereydunshahr holds the distinction of being the highest town in Iran.
