Nasimshahr is a city located in the Tehran province of Iran. It serves as the capital of the Bostan District within Baharestan County. Additionally, it functions as one of the two administrative capitals of the county, alongside the city of Golestan.
The settlement originated as the village of Akbarabad, which was officially converted into a city in 1995. It underwent several name changes during its transition, first being renamed Mohajershahr in 1996 before finally receiving its current name, Nasimshahr, in 1999.
