Nasimshahr is a city located in the Tehran province of Iran. It serves as the capital of the Bostan District within Baharestan County. Along with Golestan, it functions as one of the two capitals of the county.
The settlement originated as the village of Akbarabad, which was officially converted into a city in 1995. It was subsequently renamed Mohajershahr in 1996 before receiving its current name, Nasimshahr, in 1999.
