Malard is a city located in the Central District of Malard County within the Tehran province of Iran. It serves as the administrative capital for both the county and the district, while also functioning as the administrative center for the Malard-e Shomali Rural District.
The city was established in 1995 following the merger of two neighboring villages: Malard and Sar Asiab-e Malard. This consolidation officially formed the current urban entity known today as the city of Malard.
