Baghestan

Iran

Baghestan is a city located in the Central District of Shahriar County within the Tehran province of Iran. It serves as a regional urban center formed through the consolidation of several surrounding rural areas.

The city was officially established in 2004 following the merger of the village of Khademabad-e Qods with the villages of Deh-e Mavizeh, Sadeqiyeh, Nasirabad, and Shahrak-e Motahari. In a subsequent administrative expansion following the 2016 National Census, the village of Baba Salman was also annexed into the city limits.
