Bandar Siraf is a city located in Iran, serving as the capital of the Siraf District within Kangan County, situated in the Bushehr province. The area has historical roots connected to the village of Taheri, which previously served as the capital of the Taheri Rural District before that status was transferred to the village of Parak.
The settlement underwent a formal administrative transition in 2005 when Taheri was officially converted into a city. Today, Bandar Siraf remains an established urban center within the provincial geography of southern Iran.
