Kermanshah is a city located in the western part of Iran within the Central District of Kermanshah province. It serves as the capital for the province, the county, and the district. The city is situated approximately 525 kilometres from the national capital, Tehran.
According to the 2016 National Census, the population of Kermanshah was measured at 946,651 residents.
