Qeshm is an Iranian island located in the Strait of Hormuz within the Persian Gulf. Covering an area of approximately 1,500 square kilometres (580 sq mi), it is distinguished as the largest island in the Persian Gulf region. The landmass is separated from the Iranian mainland by the Clarence Strait.
The island is situated within Qeshm County in Daraghan Province. Notable features of the location include a hidden missile city situated underneath the island, which houses various drones, rockets, and missiles.
