Jahrom is a city located in the Central District of Jahrom County within the Fars province of Iran. It serves as the administrative capital for both the county and the district, while also functioning as the administrative center for the Jolgah Rural District.
The city holds significant regional importance as the largest city in southern Fars and the second-largest city in the entire province. Historically, it replaced the village of Heydarabad as the capital of the rural district.
