Arsanjan is a city located in the Central District of Arsanjan County within the Fars province of Iran. Situated at an altitude of 1,638 metres (5,374 ft), it serves as the administrative capital for both the county and its central district.
Historically, the city functioned as the capital of the former Arsanjan District, which was previously part of Marvdasht County before the establishment of the current county structure.
