Chabahar is a city located in the Central District of Chabahar County within Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province. It serves as the capital for both the county and the district, and it is positioned as the southernmost city in Iran following Konarak.
The city functions as a free port situated on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. It is located approximately 170 kilometres (110 mi) to the west of Gwadar, which is the sister port city in Balochistan, Pakistan.
