Chelgerd is a city located in the Central District of Kuhrang County within the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province of Iran. It serves as the administrative capital for both the county and the district, and it also functions as the administrative center for the Shurab-e Tangazi Rural District.
The location was originally a village before being officially converted into a city in 1999.
