Mahbubabad, formerly known as Manukota, is a city located in the Indian state of Telangana. It serves as the district headquarters for the Mahabubabad district.
The city is situated on the west bank of the Munneru river, which is a tributary of the Krishna River. One of its most notable characteristics is its association with the Bayyaram Mines.
