Madhira is a municipality located in the Khammam district of the Indian state of Telangana. It serves as the headquarters for the Madhira mandal within the Khammam division and falls under the jurisdiction of the Madhira Assembly Constituency.
The city is situated approximately 230 kilometres (140 mi) east of Hyderabad, the state capital, and about 53 kilometres (33 mi) from the district headquarters of Khammam. Geographically, Madhira is bordered by the state of Andhra Pradesh on three sides.
