Kukatpally is a suburb located in northwestern Hyderabad within the Indian state of Telangana. It serves as the headquarters for the Balanagar Prashu Singh mandal, situated in the Malkajgiri revenue division of the Medchal–Malkajgiri district.
Historically, Kukatpally functioned as an independent municipality before being merged into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). It currently serves as the headquarters for the north zone of the GHMC. The area is connected by road to HITEC City, a prominent nearby information technology hub.
