Jagtial, natively spelled as Jagityala, is a city located in the state of Telangana, India. It serves as the district headquarters for the Jagtial district and is situated approximately 190 kilometres (118 mi) north of the state capital, Hyderabad.
The city sits at an average elevation of 293 metres (961 ft). According to data from the 2011 census, the population of Jagtial was 103,930.
