Laksar is a small town located in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated near the city of Haridwar and the Nagar Palika, positioned along National Highway 334A.
The town serves as an important sugar manufacturing destination within the state. Additionally, it is home to the Laksar Junction railway station (LRJ), which was established in 1866 and remains the largest railway junction in Uttarakhand.
