Noamundi is a census town and administrative block located in the West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, India. It serves as a significant mining town situated in close proximity to the border of Odisha.
The town is positioned near Jamshedpur and lies approximately 64 km (40 mi) from Chaibasa. It is surrounded by several nearby towns, including Padapahar, Barajamda, Jagannathpur, Kharsawan, Gua, and Kiriburu.
