Chakradharpur is a city located in the West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, India. Situated at an elevation of 227 metres, the city covers an urban area of approximately 10 square kilometres.
The city serves as the railway divisional headquarters for the Chakradharpur (CKP) division of the South Eastern Railway. It is geographically positioned near the boundaries of West Bengal and Odisha, with Jamshedpur to the east, Rourkela to the west, Ranchi to the north, and Chaibasa to the south.
