Dongargarh

Dongargarh is a town and municipality located in the Rajnandgaon District of Chhattisgarh, India. The name of the city is derived from the words "Dongarh," which means mountains, and "garh," which means fort.

The city serves as a prominent pilgrim destination and is home to several significant religious sites, including the Bambleshwari Temple and the Chandragiri Jain Temple. Geographically, it is characterized by its majestic mountains and ponds.

Dongargarh is situated approximately 35 kilometres west of Rajnandgaon, 67 kilometres west of Durg, and 132 kilometres east of Bhandara. These neighboring locations are all positioned along National Highway 6.
