Utraula is a city and municipal board located in the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated in the northeastern region of the state, approximately 175 kilometers northeast of Lucknow.
The city is positioned near the West Rapti River and lies roughly 90 kilometers from the border with Nepal.
