Soron is a town located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. According to 2011 census data, the town had a population of 27,468 residing in 4,611 households.
The area is historically recognized as a Hindu pilgrimage site, as documented in the Varaha Purana's Sūkarakṣetra-Māhātmya. The present-day Sita-Ram temple in Soron stands on a site where earlier construction took place around the 9th or 10th century.
