Pipraich is a town and nagar panchayat located in the Gorakhpur district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Sadar tehsil within the Pipraich block.
The settlement was officially declared a town on November 25, 1871, pursuant to the Bengal Chaukidari Act of 1856. It is currently administered as a town area under the U.P. Town Areas Act of 1914.
