Pihani is a town and nagar palika parishad located in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It serves as the headquarters for a community development block within the Shahabad tehsil. As of the 2011 census, the town had a population of 36,014 residing in 5,626 households.
Historically, Pihani was recognized as a significant center for sword production, earning it the nickname "the Damascus of Oudh" from at least one British writer. In contemporary times, the town's primary industries include the production of jaggery and woven carpets.
