Padrauna

Padrauna is a city located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Kushinagar district and is situated approximately 19 kilometres northeast of Kushinagar International Airport.

The city holds historical significance as a location where Rama spent several days during his life before traveling to Ramkola with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman. Historically, Padrauna also served as the seat of the local zamindari known as the Padrauna Estate.

In terms of local infrastructure and education, Udit Narayan Intermediate College is recognized as the largest college within the Kushinagar district.
