Kulpahar is a historical city located in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Situated within the Bundelkhand region, the town was formerly a Tehsil of the Hamirpur District until February 11, 1995, when the Mahoba District was established. It currently serves as the largest subdivision in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The city is noted for its proximity to several significant historical sites, including Khajuraho, Mahoba, Charkhari, Kalinjar Rath, Orchha, and Jhansi. Kulpahar is characterized by its architectural heritage, specifically housing relics of temples and man-made water bodies dating back to the Chandela Dynasty.
