Govardhan, also known as Giriraj, is a municipal town and a key pilgrimage center located in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It serves as a Tehsil and is the seat of an MLA for the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The town is situated approximately 23 kilometres from Mathura on the road link connecting Mathura and Deeg. It functions as a nagar panchayat within its administrative region.
